Fertility Massage
Nurturing Support for the Journey to Parenthood
The path to parenthood is deeply personal, and for many, it is far more complex than they ever imagined. Whether you are trying to conceive naturally, preparing for or recovering from fertility treatments, navigating pregnancy loss, or simply longing for a child, the journey can bring both physical and emotional challenges that are difficult to carry alone.
Fertility Massage is a gentle, holistic approach designed to support reproductive wellness while providing a safe space for rest, relaxation, and healing. Using specialized techniques rooted in Claire Marie Miller’s Nurturing the Mother® Fertility Massage method, each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and goals.
This work is especially close to my heart because it was born out of my own experience. Before becoming a mother, I walked through the uncertainty, grief, and emotional weight of infertility and pregnancy loss myself. I understand what it feels like to desperately hope, to wait, to question, and to carry the invisible burden that often accompanies fertility struggles.
It was through that experience that I felt called to support others on their own journeys. While every story is different, my hope is to provide a nurturing environment where you feel seen, cared for, and supported—regardless of where you are in the process.
What Is Fertility Massage?
Fertility Massage combines a variety of supportive techniques that work together to encourage relaxation, circulation, body awareness, and overall reproductive wellness. Sessions may include:
-
Fertility-focused massage techniques
-
Gentle abdominal massage
-
Acupressure
-
Reflexology
-
Relaxation and stress-reduction techniques
-
Craniosacral therapy
-
Nervous system regulation support
-
Aromatherapy
-
Education on fertility-supportive home care practices, including castor oil packs
One of the most significant benefits of fertility massage is its ability to encourage the body to shift from a state of chronic stress into one of rest and restoration. While stress is not the cause of infertility, the emotional toll of trying to conceive can place a tremendous burden on the nervous system. Creating opportunities for deep relaxation can help support overall well-being and provide a much-needed space to breathe, process, and reconnect with yourself.
Many clients find that fertility massage offers something they have been missing throughout their journey—a dedicated time to slow down, feel cared for, and nurture both body and spirit.
Who Can Benefit?
Fertility Massage may be supportive for those who are:
-
Trying to conceive naturally
-
Preparing for IUI or IVF treatments
-
Recovering between fertility treatment cycles
-
Navigating unexplained infertility
-
Supporting hormonal balance and reproductive wellness
-
Healing after miscarriage or pregnancy loss
-
Looking for emotional support and stress relief during their fertility journey
A Complementary Approach
Fertility Massage is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure infertility and should not replace medical care. Instead, it serves as a complementary therapy that works alongside the care of your physician, reproductive endocrinologist, fertility specialist, midwife, or other healthcare providers.
My goal is not simply to provide a massage session, but to create a space where you can feel supported, nurtured, and empowered throughout one of life’s most meaningful and vulnerable seasons.
Scheduling Your Fertility Massage Sessions
To receive the greatest benefit from fertility massage, timing can be an important consideration.
For women who are actively trying to conceive, fertility massage is ideally scheduled between the end of menstruation and ovulation. Depending on your goals, cycle length, and individual circumstances, many clients choose to receive 1–3 sessions during this fertile window. Fertility massage is generally not performed after ovulation if pregnancy is possible, or during menstruation.
For men, fertility massage may be scheduled at any time, as treatment is not dependent upon a monthly cycle.
First-Time Fertility Massage Clients
If this is your first fertility massage appointment, please schedule the “Fertility Massage — Initial Session.”
This appointment lasts approximately 2 hours and allows ample time for a thorough health and fertility intake, discussion of your goals and concerns, personalized treatment planning, and your fertility massage session. This visit also includes a carefully curated take-home fertility support kit featuring fertility-supportive self-care tools, educational resources, and guidance to help you continue nurturing your body between sessions.
Because every fertility journey is unique, this extended appointment provides the opportunity to fully understand your story and create a personalized plan of care tailored to your needs.
Continuing Care Sessions
After your initial visit, future appointments can be scheduled as “Fertility Massage — Continuing Care Sessions.”
These appointments are approximately 90 minutes in length and are designed to build upon the foundation established during your initial session. Because we have already completed your intake and discussed your goals, we are able to devote more time to hands-on treatment while continuing to adjust the session based on your cycle, fertility treatments, changing needs, and progress.
Many clients find that a series of sessions provides ongoing support, accountability, relaxation, and an opportunity to reconnect with themselves throughout the often demanding fertility journey.
If you are unsure when to schedule based on your cycle or treatment plan, I am always happy to help guide you toward the timing that may be most beneficial for your individual circumstances.
Whether your journey has just begun or you have been walking this road for years, you do not have to carry it alone.
I would be honored to support you along the way.
